Creative Retail Solutions

EEA has been solving our retail clients’ engineering needs for over 15 years. Our dedicated team provides construction site surveys, MEP design, end of project commissioning, troubleshooting, and creative solutions to unique demands within the retail construction environment.

Seasoned Landlord and Jurisdiction Experts

We understand every city is different, and every plan reviewer is unique. We have worked with nearly every major city in the US, so we are familiar with the peculiar traits, local code interpretations, and amendments that come with each location. This allows us to anticipate problems before they happen.

We are licensed to practice MEP engineering in all 50 states in addition to Washington, DC and Puerto Rico. We have provided design assistance for projects in Canada and Mexico. With over 1,000+ projects in our portfolio, we have experience with a wide variety of building owners and jurisdictions.

EEA’s retail team has completed projects in:

  • Interior malls
  • Exterior malls
  • Street locations
  • Strip centers
  • High rises
  • Historical buildings

Dependable and Responsive

We understand the time-sensitive nature of retail construction and design. The store must open on schedule. We pride ourselves on being responsive while providing a fast turnaround. We also recognize that design evolves, and we remain flexible for last-minute adjustments. As your partner, your priority is our priority.

Reduced Energy Costs

We understand the importance of honoring your financial goals. As your partner, we implement energy-efficient designs to keep expenses within your budget.

Troubleshooting

EEA offers solutions to your business' most complicated issues. We are skilled at reviewing design and construction documents for projects we were not initially involved in creating.
With decades of experience in markets as distinct as high tech, industrial, and higher education, EEA has a breadth of engineering knowledge to meet your needs. Our experience with shell design and multi-family construction gives us a broader perspective to resolve any challenges you may face.

Partner with Experience

When it comes to Retail projects, we have seen nearly everything before. We bring this depth of knowledge to each new partnership and build on it the longer we work together to create greater efficiency.

EEA has helped Chase Bank renovate and build new branch offices since 2004. Our partnership began when we helped them design and build over one hundred and thirty new branches during their major expansion into the Texas market.

When California adopted the new revision to Title 24 in 2013, the electrical design requirements changed dramatically from previous code requirements. EEA was asked by several of our clients to assist in modifying their design standards to address these changes.

We are known for our responsiveness and welcome an open line of communication with our partners. Let us know how we can partner with you.
