EEA Vice President Installed as ASHRAE Director, Regional Chair

Austin Engineer Installed as ASHRAE Director and Regional Chair

SEATTLE— Bill Klock, P.E., Vice President, EEA Consulting Engineers, Austin, Texas, was installed as director and regional chair of Region VIII of ASHRAE at its 2014 Annual Conference held here June 28-July 2.

As director and regional chair, Klock serves on ASHRAE’s Board of Directors and as chair of the Society’s Region VIII, which covers Arkansas, northwestern Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mexico and a major portion of Texas. He will serve a three-year term from 2014-17.

His past service has included a member of the Certification Committee; Technical Committee 9.1, Large Building Air-Conditioning Systems; and assistant regional chair, Region VIII.

He has received a Distinguished Service Award, a Chapter Service Award and a Regional Award of Merit.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
