Tyrone Thompson serves as the BIM Manager for EEA and is primarily responsible for EEA’s BIM Standards, quality control, training, implementation, and corporate objectives. As the expectations of the industry continue to shift, his goal is to utilize Revit and other BIM software to provide both EEA and our clients the best this growing technology can offer.
Tyrone joined EEA in September of 2012 as a mechanical designer. He has nearly 15 years of design experience in multiple market sectors including commercial, retail, industrial, higher ed, and federal government. As an Autodesk Certified professional, Tyrone has focused his professional development not only on the MEP systems EEA designs but the technologies like Revit that help make that possible. Through the years, he has been involved in and presented at local Revit Users groups. He relishes in sharing BIM knowledge and insight with others in the A/E/C industry.
Outside of EEA, Tyrone is a devout Jacksonville Jaguars fan regardless of rankings. He also enjoys spending time with his family and proudly knows all the names of the Paw Patrol pups…even Tracker (and nobody remembers Tracker).
