As the Chief Operating Officer, Morgan Stinson is responsible for the day-to-day operations of EEA, where he oversees the management of projects and talent.
Morgan has worked for EEA since 2001, but he’s been immersed in the family culture since he was seven years old through his father, Fritz Stinson. In college, Morgan interned for the company during his summers, and he returned full-time after having worked in Dallas for a couple of years.
With nearly two decades of engineering leadership, Morgan has experience in the design of mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients, and in facilities as diverse as information technology, clean rooms, laboratories, corporate office, pharmaceutical, and resort facilities. He has an extensive background in commissioning building systems, and in energy conservation analysis of existing facilities.
Morgan is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas, Colorado, Florida, and Missouri; he is certified as a LEED Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council; he is also a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA).
The Engineering News-Record Texas and Louisiana Magazine honored Morgan with their 2013 “Top 20 Under 40” award. He is also a former external advisory committee member for The University of Texas Department of Architectural, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, as well as a former vice-chair for USGBC Central Texas-Balcones chapter.
Morgan received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys time with his wife and daughter, playing bass and singing with his band “Little Mikey and The Soda Jerks,” watching college football, and eating Mexican food.
