The new Cedar Park Public Library is a vibrant hub for knowledge, creativity, and community connection. Designed with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable architecture, the library offers a welcoming space for all ages to explore, learn, and collaborate. Featuring an expansive collection of books, digital resources, and multimedia, the library caters to a variety of interests and educational needs. Highlights include dedicated children’s and teen areas, flexible meeting and study spaces, and a makerspace equipped with tools for hands-on innovation. As a centerpiece for Cedar Park, this library embodies the city’s commitment to fostering lifelong learning and a thriving community.
This new construction project included youth, teen, and adult stacks areas, an event space, classrooms, meeting rooms, a quiet reading room, and office areas. EEA’s ANV scope included room acoustics, sound isolation and building systems noise control throughout the project, including collaboration with the architect in the design of the main lobby feature wall, with acoustically absorptive material hidden behind slats made of trees harvested from the site.
