Relax in the Texas Hill Country
Nestled in the tall pines near Bastrop, Texas is the Hyatt Lost Pines resort. EEA provided the hydraulic and electric design for the lazy river and multiple pools, hot tubs, and fountains located outside of the main hotel. The pumps to circulate the river are located in pits below grade to provide unobstructed views while relaxing in the river. The river is just over 1,000 feet long, and was designed to flow at a leisurely pace with redundant pumping.
The kids can play in a splash pad in the shape of a Texas Star or slide down the multi-turn waterslide, while adults relax in a nearby hot tub.
This project has been a favorite of EEA employees to visit with their families since completion.
