EEA teamed up with DCI Engineers, Kga Architecture, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., and Hoar Construction for CANstruction Austin held November 14, 2015 at Barton Creek Square Mall.
CANstruction Austin is an exciting event that brings together architecture, engineering and construction professionals to design and build structures completely out of canned foods. The event helps raise awareness about hunger in Central Texas and all proceeds and cans are donated to the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB). Last year, CANstruction Austin raised almost 26,000 pounds of food and a substantial amount of cash donations for the Capital Area Food Bank!
The team raked in the awards this year winning the Juror’s Favorite as well as the People’s Choice award from online votes.
