EEA provided MEP services for the new 80,000 SF two-story elementary school, designed to be LEED Certified. The school’s first floor contains an administration wing with secure vestibule, special education classrooms, music and art rooms, media center, kindergarten and first grade wings, full kitchen and cafeteria, and gym. The second floor contains second through fifth grade classrooms and specialty offices and areas. MEP systems for the project consisted of variable refrigerant volume systems with energy recovery dedicated outside air systems, packaged VAV rooftop units, high efficiency domestic water heating, and a rooftop photovoltaic array. The project is currently under construction.
