Austin-based EEA Consulting Engineers is excited to announce the acquisition of Vibrantcy LLC, a 10-person consulting firm in Albuquerque focused on Commissioning/LEED Consulting/Energy Modeling and MEP design. Through partnerships on previous projects, both firms recognized the enhanced capabilities that unifying would bring to the Albuquerque and surrounding area.
“We feel Vibrantcy will support our mission to provide better service, while also expanding our current Commissioning and Energy Modeling abilities,” stated EEA CEO and President, Todd Schmitt.
EEA has provided services to both public and private sector clients across the nation since 1977. Since 2005, EEA has worked closely with federal government agencies and industrial/manufacturing companies in New Mexico. The Vibrantcy acquisition will allow EEA to expand its project portfolio. Vibrantcy brings expertise in the K-12, healthcare, higher education, and municipality markets.
Matt Higgins, founder of Vibrantcy and now a Principal with EEA, shared: “I am very excited to be joining EEA, this transition is a huge step for Vibrantcy’s staff, increasing our capabilities and providing a path for sustainable growth. Our hard work over the last six years has built a strong foundation in New Mexico and we plan to make it stronger at EEA.”
