Data Center

Flexible to Fit Your Needs

As the processing capability of each square inch of server exponentially grows, so does the amount of power needed and heat generated. Our skills continually evolve to meet these changing needs.

EEA has worked on data centers of all sizes and degrees of complexity. As a result, our team is skilled at working with:

  1. Underfloor and overhead air distribution

  2. Hot aisle/cold aisle containment

Telecommunications equipment

  1. Liquid cooling

  2. High efficiency data centers

We have experience working in secure facilities and are skilled in making sure that owner security requirements are executed correctly.

Liquid-Cooled Solutions

Merely a decade ago, the data center cooling solution was simple. Adding enough computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units in the data center kept the room at a safe temperature. However, using air to cool data centers is becoming increasingly difficult, if not impossible.

Liquid-cooled solutions are efficient, and the systems and equipment used are becoming more complex. EEA is experienced engineering liquid-cooled solutions for cutting edge data centers.

Maximizing Reliability

The ultimate achievement of most data centers is 99.999% reliability. This percentage means the data center will be off-line 0.001% of the time, or five minutes a year.

In reality, the facility manager, owner, or customer expects 100% uptime. Designing systems that respond to equipment failure without impacting the data center machinery is what we strive to accomplish. The result being peace of mind knowing the support systems are responsive and reliable.
