As of April 2022, Jeremy Smith serves EEA as our Chief Technical Officer.
Before taking over as CTO, he held the position of Principal overseeing EEA’s large commercial and data center markets. His commercial projects vary from standard (Rooftop units or VAV) to complex (chilled beam) with data center projects ranging from a small air-cooled 100KW data center to a 7 MW water-cooled data center. All designs have a focus on high reliability and high efficiency. Mr. Smith’s clients have included GSA, DOE, and numerous local architects.
Jeremy has a combined 14 years at EEA with a 10-year gap where he was an engineered products salesman and branch manager for a local representative firm. Jeremy is experienced in a wide range of HVAC systems and design.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1998. He’s a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and is a former Austin ASHRAE chapter president.
